Pasture Summit was established in 2017 by a group of progressive and committed farm business owners and dairy sector experts from across New Zealand and Ireland.In November 2018, Pasture Summit conferences were held on the North and South Islands of New Zealand. The objective was to bring together a positive and vibrant community of farmers, to secure a profitable future, for this and the next generation of dairy farmers and our dairy stakeholders.The next Pasture Summit will take place in Ireland on 10 and 11 June 2020
Regrettably, we have had to postpone Pasture Summit 2020
Future date in 2021 to be announced.
Our thoughts are with every person that has been impacted by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. On behalf of each of us, be safe and stay healthy.

Pasture Summit 2020
Message from organising chairman;
“Ireland and New Zealand are unique aspasture/grass based farming industries.In 2018 a ‘Pasture Summit’ was held in NZbringing both countries together to discuss topics of interest that have an impact froma production and research point of view.The concept for this gathering came fromsome Irish and New Zealand farmers seeinghow each industry could benefit fromgreater interaction and dialogue.The idea is that each country host a conference every 4 years. Ireland is hostingin 2020. We have had over 60 farmers and researchers putting their thoughts togetheron how to make this an event with a difference,to complement, rather than compete with existing events being held in Ireland. PastureSummit will deal with current topics in an innovative and imaginative way.”There will be six core topics covered at the Irishevent.
A bi annual event between Ireland and New Zealand, the next Pasture Summit in 2020 will be held in Ireland, with the 2022 event returning to New Zealand.
